Steve Courson (Stephen Paul Courson) was born on October 1, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Gettysburg (PA), Courson attended the University of South Carolina. Courson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1985 was Steve Courson's best year.
