Steve Carter (Steven Jerome Carter) was born on December 3, 1964 in Charlottesville, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1989 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Carter played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career.
