Born on December 6, 1957 in Methuen, Massachusetts, Steve Bedrosian (Stephen Wayne Bedrosian) played for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, San Francisco Giants and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 14 year career. Bedrosian broke into the bigs on August 14, 1981 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 2.42 ERA in 137.2 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Steve Bedrosian's best season was 1987, when he posted a 2.83 ERA, notched 40 saves and struck out 74 batters.
