Steve Banas (Stephen Peter Banas) was born on April 30, 1907 in , CT. After going to high school at Catholic Central (Bridgeport, CT), Banas attended the University of Notre Dame. Banas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
