Steve Baker

Born on August 30, 1956 in Eugene, Oregon, Steve Baker (Steven Byrne Baker) played for the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career. Baker broke into the bigs on May 25, 1978 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 4.55 ERA in 63.1 innings pitched in 1978, his rookie year.
