Steve Alexakos (Steven Theodore Alexakos) was born on December 15, 1946 in Lowell, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Los Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), Alexakos attended Arizona State University, Diablo Valley JC and San Jose State University. Alexakos made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the New York Giants and Denver Broncos over the course of his 2 year career.
