Sterling Slaughter

Born on November 18, 1941 in Danville, Illinois, Sterling Slaughter (Sterling Feore Slaughter) played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 1 year career. Slaughter broke into the bigs on April 19, 1964 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 5.75 ERA in 51.2 innings pitched in 1964, his rookie year.
