And then there were five.
Cincinnati Bengals guard Eric Steinbach was arrested and charged with boating under the influence on the Ohio River, becoming the fifth Cincinnati player in just three months accused of breaking the law.
Steinbach was stopped by an officer from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources because he was violating an idle-only zone this past Saturday night, according to agency spokesman. Steinbach then failed a series of field sobriety tests.
Steinbach was released from the Campbell County jail in Newport, KY after posting bond and was to appear in court today.
Steinbach was a first alternate for the Pro Bowl last season. He started all 16 regular-season games and a playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was part of the offensive line that allowed a club record of only 21 sacks.
