Staten Island Stapletons
Staten Island Stapletons were originally founded in 1915 and played in the National Football League from 1929 to 1930. They then shortened their nickname to the "Stapes" and played again from 1931 to 1932. Jack Shapiro, who was a blocking back for the Stapletons, was the shortest player in NFL history.
