Stan Sperry

Stan Sperry (Stanley Kenneth Sperry) was born on February 19, 1914 in Evansville, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on July 28, 1936 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .273 with 0 home runs and 27 RBI. Sperry played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 2 year career.
