Stan Sheriff (Bruce Stanley Sheriff) was born on April 24, 1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After going to high school at George Washington (San Francisco, CA), Sheriff attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Sheriff made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1954 was Stan Sheriff's best year.
