Stan Petry (Stanley Edward Petry) was born on August 14, 1966 in Alvin, Texas. After going to high school at Willowridge (Fort Bend, TX), Petry attended Texas Christian University. Petry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1990 was Stan Petry's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
