Stan Palys

Stan Palys (Stanley Francis Palys) was born on May 1, 1930 in Blakely, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 20, 1953 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .241 with 8 home runs and 38 RBI. Palys played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 4 year career.
