Stan Kostka (Stanislaus Clarence Kostka) was born on July 8, 1913 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After going to high school at South (St. Paul, MN), Kostka attended the University of Minnesota and the University of Oregon. Kostka made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
