Stan Jones (Stanley Paul Jones) was born on November 24, 1931 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Lemoyne (PA), Jones attended the University of Maryland. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Stan Jones's best year.
