Stan Jefferson (Stanley Jefferson) was born on December 4, 1962 in New York, New York. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1986 for the New York Mets. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .230 with 8 home runs and 29 RBI. Jefferson played for the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Stan Jefferson's best season was 1987, when he stole 34 bases.
