Stan Cherry (Stanley D. Cherry) was born on November 2, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at Edmondson (Baltimore, MD), Cherry attended Morgan State University. Cherry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
