Stan Campbell (Stanley Hugh Campbell) was born on August 26, 1930 in Rochelle, Illinois. After going to high school at Rochelle Township (IL), Campbell attended Iowa State University. Campbell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 8 years, playing for the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 8 year NFL career.Campbell also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
