Every network has its own flair. Whether it be FOX's blue puck years ago, or the 360 degree cameras, or whoever was first to put the first down line magically on the screen for the home viewers who couldn't add or subtract 10, each network does things differently. FOX obviously employs drunks to broadcast its All-Star games. So I pose the question, what is your favorite network to watch a particular sport? FOX vs. CBS for the NFL? ESPN vs. FOX for the MLB? FOX vs. stabbing your eyes for NASCAR? I argue that ABC does the finest job with its college football broadcasts. NBC is awful, and ESPN is second-tier. From ABC's pregrame to postgame, the play-by-play and color commentators gel the best, the graphics look the best, the time filling humanitarian pieces are the most interesting, I could go go on. So I pose the question, what is everyone's favorite network to watch a particular sporting event?

Everytime I watch a football game on FOX, I think of that Family Guy episode where John Madden shoots down Peter in a blimp while he was dumping money out the window for "ruining a perfectly good game of FOOTBALL!" He then gets on his walkie talkie, "Madden to FOX Security, TAKE HIM DOWN!"

I like Fox for the Football broadcast on Sunday, Ive grown to like the booth with Troy Aikmen in company. I cannot watch the CBS team for pregame or in game, GReg Gumbel drives me crazy. ABC college football may be the best though solid crews all around. Im interested to see the New Monday Might crew with two local Washington DC boys.

ABC for college football (although I always watch Fowler, Corso , and Herbie for pre-game on ESPN), CBS for NFL (FOX is becoming so gimmicky it drives me nuts), and ESPN for baseball (only because I can't stand Buck and McCarver on FOX). NBC always does a nice job with the Olympics.

I'd have to agree that the teaming of College Gameday and the ABC college football telecasts has to be the best. Not only does college football employ the best analysts in Herbstreit and Corso, it also had the best play-by-play man this side of Al Michaels in Keith Jackson.

I drank and drank during the allstar game...I couldnt stand the play by play. And when I was watching the HR durb on mlb.com the break away announcing in the studio...it was like watching a college television sports show. I can't wait for College football to start.

I like CBS for college and pro football. Phil Simms provides solid commentary for the pro game, and Tim Brandt brings energy to the college halftime show.

I have to go with my local station for MLB and well I don't like football all together so I'll go with poke out the eyes option.
