Special Teams...

I'd be lying if I didn't say I was shocked when I read that the Steelers made a trade. A trade? The Steelers? That's right. And it's a name that we've all heard of. The Steelers? Yup. For a 2008 conditional draft pick, the Steelers picked up KR Allen Rossum for the Falcons. Rossum holds every Falcons record for returns and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2005. Shocking news, I know.
Rossum is a 10-year veteran. He's been in the league a long time and he's never made a name for himself as a DB. Clearly he's going to be challenging Reid for return duty. I heard both of them will line up side-by-side. Tomlin is again showing his commitment to special teams. Reid hasn't shown that "wow" factor you'd like to see in a return man. Hopefully, Rossum can give us this while simultaneously teaching the youngster, Reid, a few tricks.
