Sort These Pitchers

For an article I'm writing, I need some survey data. So, do me a favor, and sort these pitchers into four groups, A through D, with A being the best group down to D, being the worst, based on their careers as a starter (emphasis in there for Smoltz, mainly):

• David Cone
• David Wells
• Greg Maddux
• Jamie Moyer
• John Smoltz
• Kenny Rogers
• Kevin Brown
• Mike Hampton
• Mike Mussina
• Orel Hershiser
• Pat Hentgen
• Randy Johnson
• Roger Clemens
• Scott Erickson
• Steve Trachsel
• Tommy Glavine

Put at least three guys in each group. Other than that, it's up to you where to draw the lines.
