Sonny Ruberto (John Edward Ruberto) was born on January 2, 1946 in Staten Island, New York. He made his Major League debut on May 25, 1969 for the San Diego Padres. Ruberto played for the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
