Sonny Gordon (Denman Preston Gordon) was born on July 30, 1965 in Lynn, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Middletown (OH), Gordon attended Ohio State University. Gordon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
