Sonny Gibbs (Guy Gilbert Gibbs, Jr.) was born on October 25, 1939 in Graham, Texas. After going to high school at Graham (TX), Gibbs attended Texas Christian University. Gibbs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
