Solon Barnett (Solon Slade Barnett, Jr.) was born on March 30, 1921 in New Willard, Texas. After going to high school at Livingston (TX), Barnett attended Baylor University. Barnett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
