Solomon Freelon (Solomon Freelon, Jr.) was born on February 19, 1951 in Monroe, Louisiana. After going to high school at Carroll (Monroe, LA), Freelon attended Grambling State University. Freelon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 3 year career.
