Snooker Match - Frame 1

After much anticipation, the 1992 World Snooker Final between Stephen Hendry and Jimmy White was underway.
This frame was on Sunday afternoon, and was not part of a snooker broadcast, but part of "Sunday Grandstand" which featured a variety of sports, not just snooker.
As such, you have a different introducer to the normal David Vine. Steve Rider, who now hosts F1 on ITV, chaired the coverage.
The MC is Alan Hughes and commentary comes from Clive Everton, a respected Welsh snooker journalist who still commentates today, and John Spencer a three-time World Champion, who chaired the WPBSA at the time. He sadly died last summer after a battle against cancer.
Please ask if you have any questions about things like shot selection, or a technicality of the game you don't understand. Or even if you don't understand something said in the commentary. I ought to be able to explain any query you may have.
