America can finally celebrate, Andy Roddick won't lose to Roger Federer in the French Open! ... Because he might not even play. The American star left his match at the World Team Cup after injuring his left foot, saying he "felt something clip or pop," just four days before the start of the French Open.

The 2003 U.S. Open champion still hopes to compete at Roland Garros. That's funny Andy, we hope you someday live up to all the hype of being the next great American star. This picture, by the way, comes from a "series on athletes whose commercial appeal extends beyond their accomplishments on the field." Anna Kournikova much?

For Anna Kournikova, any commercial appeal would be beyond her accomplishments on the field. Roddick needs a new coach; he can't realy on his killer serve to win every darn point.

Roddick's best surface is grass. On grass, his serve explodes. He wouldn't do as well on the clay at Roland Garros, because it is such a slow surface.
