Snake Deal (John Wesley Deal) was born on January 21, 1879 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on July 9, 1906 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1906, his rookie year, he hit .208 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Deal played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 1 year career.
