Slim Emmerich

Born on September 29, 1919 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Slim Emmerich (William Peter Emmerich) played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career. Emmerich broke into the bigs on May 14, 1945 with the New York Giants, and put up a 4.86 ERA in 100 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
