Skeeter Kell (Everett Lee Kell) was born on October 11, 1929 in Swifton, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1952 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .221 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Kell played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 1 year career.
