The Cleveland Indians aren't risking anything. The Indians and up-and-coming OF Grady Sizemore came to terms on a six-year $23.45 million contract with a club opinion for 2012. The option is worth $8.5 million and includes a $500,000 buyout. The amount count increase to $10.5 million depending on whether Sizemore is an All-Star, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, or does well in MBP voting. If traded, the option becomes Sizemore's decision and the buyout is forfeited if he declines the option. Sizemore's deal is the largest deal ever for a player with less than two years service time.
