Simon Nicholls (Simon Burdette Nicholls) was born on July 18, 1882 in Germantown, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1903 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1907, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 0 home runs and 23 RBI. Nicholls played for the Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Athletics and Cleveland Naps over the course of his 6 year career.
