Sid Wagner (Sidney P. Wagner) was born on October 29, 1912 in Lansing, Michigan. After going to high school at Central (Lansing, MI), Wagner attended Michigan State University. Wagner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 3 year career.
