Sid Bennett (Sydney Chisholm Bennett) was born on February 2, 1895 in Geneva, Illinois. After going to high school at Geneva (IL), Bennett attended Northwestern University. Bennett made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Tigers. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Tigers the entire time. Bennett also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Milwaukee Badgers the entire time.
