Si Titus (Silas J. Titus) was born on September 23, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Brooklyn Prep (Brooklyn, NY), Titus attended Holy Cross College. Titus made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Si Titus's best year.
