Should Willie Go?

[1] Losing yesterday, gives the Mets pressure. Winning the N.L. East, it seems hard. The Mets can't win consistent, that's the reason for their struggles.
Controversy explodes, and success falls. Having a 7 game lead, and losing it. That's enough for someone to get fired.
This line-up is great, but they aren't perfect. They don't have help, its all them. The bullpen is over worked, and horrible.
Giving up leads, and losing games. The bullpen is the reason for that. Should Willie Randolph take the heat?
Many blame Willie for the struggles. He's the manger, it's going to happen. He should be responsible, but what can he do?
Fire up his team, that hasn't worked. Making trades, Omar Minaya won't do it. Willie is left with what he has. Managers always take the fall, and Willie is. The pitchers should take the blame, as well. Tom Glavine getting "crushed" by the Nationals, and others. The bullpen giving up leads, and causing the lost.
Willie's relationship with Minaya is great. It's going to work, if it continues. "As a player and a coach, he's been through a lot. Willie's right at the top of the list. I myself believe that the experience Willie has helps out as we go through this," Minaya said. "Last year in the playoffs, how he handled those type of games and those situations showed it." Yea, and that's why Willie should stay. We seen Willie succeed, and help the Mets. No team makes the playoffs every season. "When I hired Willie, in the back of my mind I knew that there are certain people for some reason that are associated with winning. I . . . believe he has been associated with winning." It's disappointing, but not a losing season. Willie got them their winning season. It's still not over; there's a chance.
This wasn't expected. Many believed in the Mets, and now it's anger. "I'm disappointed in Omar, Willie, the players....That's everyone. We shouldn't be in this position. But we are." said Chief Operating Officers Jeff Wilpon. That may cause changes in the future.
Willie shouldn't go, the bullpen should go. Make changes, and fix the problems. Willie has done his part. "The best example I can give you is that Willie's career started 0-5," Minaya said. "You're talking about an African-American who was turned down 10 times, and there was a lot of doubt in this town and throughout baseball. . . . He held his composure. "We support the man, you better believe it." That's a great attitude. There's no bad blood, everything is fine. When losing becomes a factor, people create rumors.
The bullpen should take the heat. Willie's job should remain. Making changes will cause problems, because it's to many people going in and out. Willie shouldn't be on the hot seat. The Mets have improved. Without Willie, the Mets weren't playoff contenders. This Mets team is cable of a World Series.
This season it's hard, because who knows? The Mets are facing the Marlins, they shouldn't lose. They need to win, it's important. If the Mets lose, they shouldn't win the division. N.L East leaders, don't lose to horrible teams. The last series, it's all or nothing.
We'll see what happens!
