Shorty Fuller (William Benjamin Fuller) was born on October 10, 1867 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on July 19, 1888 for the Washington Senators. In 1888, his rookie year, he hit .182 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Fuller played for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and New York Giants over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Shorty Fuller's best season was 1890, when he stole 60 bases and hit for a .278 average.
