Sherman Plunkett

Sherman Plunkett (Sherman Eugene Plunkett) was born on April 17, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK), Plunkett attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Plunkett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Baltimore Colts. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts the entire time. Plunkett also played in the AFL for 7 years, playing for the New York Jets and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 7 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1958 was Sherman Plunkett's best year.
