Sherman Lewis (Sherman Paul Lewis) was born on June 29, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. After going to high school at duPont Manual (Louisville, KY), Lewis attended Michigan State University. Lewis made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1966 was Sherman Lewis's best year.
