[edit] BiographyAcquired: Signed as a free agent 2005. 2006: Forced into action at multiple positions along the Lions offensive line Sherko responded with sound play earning starts at both tackle and guard in seven games and seeing action in all other 18 regular season games as well as the West Championship and Grey Cup. 2005: Played in 16 games primarily as the Lions number one backup along the offensive line. Moved into the starting lineup when Jamal Powell was injured and made 5 starts. Caught 1 pass for 3 yards on Aug 19/05 vs Hamilton. Played 19 games for Montreal including all 18 in 2004. Suffered a season-ending injury in 2003 limiting him to just one game. Notable: Spent two seasons in Montreal after being drafted by them in the 2nd round (12th overall) of the 2002 CFL Draft. Joined the Lions as a free agent prior to the 2005 season. College: Had a fine college career at Miami and was an All-Big East selection twice. Personal: A Finance and Marketing major, Rasouli is the son of Mehrdad and Soraya Rasouli.
