Defensive Lineman Sheldon Napastuk finished the season with eight quarterback sacks (career high, tied for Stampeders lead), 26 defensive tackles and one forced fumble. Napastuk was also named to the Western All-Star team for the first time in his career. Played in all 18 regular season games with Calgary...recorded 34 defensive tackles (single season career high and led the team for defensive lineman)...seven tackles for a loss (single season career high and led the team for defensive lineman)...four quarterback sacks (tied for second with defensive lineman on the team)...four knockdowns (single season career high and led the team for defensive lineman)...Sheldon recorded two, five defensive tackle nights...the first on July 29th vs Ottawa where he also recorded a sack...the second came on the last game of the year vs Winnipeg.
