Sheldon Andrus (Sheldon James Andrus, Jr.) was born on October 5, 1962 in Lafayette, Louisiana. After going to high school at Port Barre (LA), Andrus attended Nicholls State University. Andrus made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 2 year career.
