Shawn Springs (Shawn Springs) was born on March 11, 1975 in Williamsburg, Virginia. After going to high school at Springbook (Silver Spring, MD), Springs attended Ohio State University. Springs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Seattle Seahawks. He has played for the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 2004 was Shawn Springs's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and recorded 6 sacks.

Springs (then with Seattle) however will be known for giving up a touchdown to Terrell Owens on Monday Night Football, in which Owens then had his famous "Sharpie" touchdown celebration.
