Born on June 29, 1977 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Shawn Sedlacek (Shawn Patrick Sedlacek) played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 1 year career. Sedlacek broke into the bigs on June 18, 2002 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 6.72 ERA in 84.1 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
