Shawn King (Shawn Keldric King) was born on June 24, 1972 in West Monroe, Louisiana. After going to high school at West Monroe (LA), King attended Louisiana State University and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. King made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Carolina Panthers. He played for the Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Shawn King's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
