Shawn Heffern (Shawn Patrick Heffern) was born on March 15, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at Carmel (IN), Heffern attended the University of Notre Dame. Heffern made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Indianapolis Colts for his entire 1 year career.
