Shawn Bouwens (Shawn Bouwens) was born on May 25, 1968 in Lincoln, Nebraska. After going to high school at Northeast (Lincoln, NE), Bouwens attended Nebraska Wesleyan University. Bouwens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars over the course of his 5 year career.
