Shannon Taylor (Shannon Andre Taylor) was born on February 16, 1975 in Roanoke, Virginia. After going to high school at Fork Union (VA) Military Academy and Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), Taylor attended the University of Virginia. Taylor made his professional debut in the NFL in 2000 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 2001 was Shannon Taylor's best year.
