Shane Nelson (Curtis Shane Nelson) was born on May 25, 1955 in Mathis, Texas. After going to high school at Mathis (TX), Nelson attended Baylor University and Blinn JC. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Shane Nelson's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
